In 2023, I joined Deel’s Brand Team as an illustrator and motion designer, contributing whimsical illustrations and delightful animations that help shape Deel’s distinctive brand and create engaging, joyful product experiences for its customers.
As Deel evolved into a global HR and payroll platform, it required a refreshed brand identity that could reflect its expanding services, international reach, and growing market presence. I contributed to shaping this new illustration identity, which became a core component of the brand system.
From spot graphics, social media assets to across product and marketing touchpoints, Illustration plays a crucial role in Deel’s brand system. I helped build a consistent and expressive illustration system that gave Deel a distinct and recognizable visual voice.
Animation is where I bring these illustrations to life. One of the areas I was most excited to work on was in-product animation, which helps create delightful and engaging experiences for Deel users. These animations span multiple stages of the product journey, from user onboarding to the payroll process. The overall goal was to enhance usability while adding moments of delight through thoughtful motion designs.
